Matchday 6

DSCFC was back after 2 months off. The boys played the game without their topscorer and key striker Shahrul Affandy. The first half was disastrous and ended 4-0. The inexperienced Raihan was exploited with goals from inside the box.

After certain changes made by the President, the team managed to score 2 goals but unfortunate to concede 2 along the way. Out of favour winger Per Wira scored 2 goals, first being a poacher's goal capitalising on a poor goal-kick. The second came in the dying minutes after Hafiz Zul played a fabulous ball forward to put the scorer through on goal to finish near post.

Amidst the game, the referee had made numerous bad decisions and started to create tension between the two teams. When asked about the decisions Captain Ming said "If we don't start asking questions on the standard of referees, fights will break out and spoil future games."

Making his club debut, Johannes Jo did not disappoint. However, he fell victim to one of the referees bad calls when he was clearly elbowed in the face. Coming back after long absence, Muqairil made little impact but managed to get the minutes in order to get back to fitness.

At the end of the day, Ahmad Sobirin was awarded the Man of the Match award. He was crucial to help keep more goals from coming. His tough tackling and aerial ability had paid off. Congratulations, Ahmad!
